Looking forward at EVMT
EVMT are pleased to announce that Emma Townley has taken up a permanent rather than part-time role as the Company’s Sales and Marketing Manager. Emma’s role coincides with the departure of EVMT’s latest Intern, Hannah Barnett who has returned to her Exeter University Law course, and the increased workload for the business.
As well as the general sales and marketing activities, Emma will be responsible for managing the Company’s school and university liaison; and the continued sponsorship of Adopt an Intern (AAI) studies. Emma will also be responsible for ensuring that EVMT meets its commitment to the Association for Project Management (APM) values.
Emma, who recently left her role with italk - part of the Solent Mind charity, will continue to volunteer for the Mental Health organisation.
Looking towards the near future, both Emma and Mark Townley (EVMT Managing Director) will be attending the South West Business Expo in March as well conducting talks at schools within the same location. The idea then is to make contact with other Universities, such as University of Southampton and Southampton Solent University, to arrange similar seminars for it's students. Emma is also hoping to travel to Scotland to gain some further insight in to the work of AAI as well as attending specific workshops and talks on topics which are of personal interest to her.
We would also like to take this opportunity to say a huge congratulations to Megan Payne who last year achieved a 2:1 in her degree course at Swansea University and went on to start her Graduate Training Scheme at BAE Systems, Filton, which has now secured her a Project Management Graduate role within the company. We wish you all the luck for the future.
