Runs in the family...
Back in April we congratulated Kate Townley for taking on, and completing, the London Marathon.
We would now like to congratulate Emma Townley on her two running achievements from this year. At the start of the year Emma took on R.E.D January (Run Every Day January) to raise money and awareness for the Mental Health charity Solent Mind. Emma raised £206 for her efforts and in June received her medal.
On June 30th Emma took part in the Race for Life Pretty Muddy 5k event with her close friend, Kat Mitchell. They completed the obstacle course in around 45 mins and pushed themselves to run as much of it as possible. So far they have raised £360 between them but you can still donate and congratulate them via this link - https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/team/emma-kat-get-muddy
A HUGE congratulations both Kate and Emma and well done for raising money for such important causes. We hope to see many more of these achievements in the future.
